SUMMARY
THIS podcast is singularly composed of an interview with game designer Chris Fasulo. We Discuss His company Grognard Simulations, and his work on the largest historical simulations available.
Chris graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. The New Jersey National Guard required it in order for Chris to keep his commission. In 1991, just as the Gulf War was starting, he was transferred from his posting in a tank battalion to the Training and Training Technology Battle Lab. There he spent the next 7 years wargaming for the New Jersey Guard running Command Post Exercises for Battalion and Brigade HQ. He was offered a job as a System Engineer at Raytheon to further develop the simulation to better serve the HQ that use the simulation to train. For 23 years he had the perfect job and loved it.
In 2009 he decided to start his own game company and design his own games. After shopping his own design looking for a publisher, and not getting much traction, he decided to publish his own games.
